An audio system, whether it’s in a modest house of worship or a massive stadium, requires seamless connectivity between all the equipment in use, from the microphones and instruments through the mixers, processors and amplifiers to the speakers. Traditionally, this means multiple long runs of specialized analogue cables that are heavy and cumbersome, to carry individual signals for each device in the audio chain.
Networked Audio replaces all of those physical connections with a computer network. All connections are now managed with software, making routes fast, readable and reliable. Because all devices share the same network, signals can be sent between any devices no matter where they are located on a site, with absolutely no change to the wiring.
All of our audio processing DSP modules (PCBA) are capable of MILAN support on request. At this moment, our MILAN functionality is compatible with the MILAN standard, but does not fully comply with all points. We are working towards full compliance and certification in 2023.
Dante and AES67 support is provided when combined with one of our Dante modules such as UXT44 and UXT22.
MTX88
This MILAN module is intended for integration into active loudspeakers, system amplifiers, rack units, or standalone A/D and D/A converters. Featuring one external 100Mbut LAN interface, up to 8 I2S input- and output channels, this versatile module can be used to upgrade any hardware with MILAN support. Upon request, there are options for additional features such as higher channel count, higher stream count, multiple LAN ports etc.
Pre-release samples are available pending certification.
This subassembly adds 4 Dante inputs and 4 Dante outputs to our DSP modules and includes a network switch for loop-through functionality. Dante signals and DSP control & command share the same network.
This subassembly adds 2 Dante inputs and 2 Dante outputs to our DSP modules and includes a network switch for loop-through functionality. Dante signals and DSP control & command share the same network.
Combining a powerful DSP with audio streaming technology and Power over Ethernet, these modules provide a simple solution to networked loudspeakers that run without an additional power supply.
MPR2A30 supports MILAN; DPR2A30 supports Dante.
Pre-release samples are available pending certification.
