An audio system, whether it’s in a modest house of worship or a massive stadium, requires seamless connectivity between all the equipment in use, from the microphones and instruments through the mixers, processors and amplifiers to the speakers. Traditionally, this means multiple long runs of specialized analogue cables that are heavy and cumbersome, to carry individual signals for each device in the audio chain.
Networked Audio replaces all of those physical connections with a computer network. All connections are now managed with software, making routes fast, readable and reliable.
